Sony Ericsson unveils 12 mega-pixel ‘Idou’

Sony Ericsson has done no mistake when it comes to teasing its customers with new and exciting cell phones. The idea  of ‘Idou‘ 12.1 mega-pixel camera and 3.5 inch touchscreen display is a concrete proof for the statement above. And surely, ‘Idou‘ is no comparison to the rest.

It would not be wrong if we say that Sony Ericsson has exploded ‘the bomb’. As the phone is described by the terms “Uniting, Broadening and Fusing” (Sony Ericsson). Such terms have been credited to the latest Sony Ericsson because it will not only feature PS3 and online video and audio content, but also info updates from Facebook and other social networks.

According to sources,  Sony Ericsson Idou will run the Symbian Foundation OS which will be based on S60. Sony Ericsson described it as occupying “a space” in the symbian road map. Apart from this, the upcoming Sony Ericsson will be featuring a stunning 12.1 mega-pixel camera and 3.5 inch VGA resolution resistive touch-screen, with a 16:9 wide-screen display.

We must make one thing clear over here that ‘Idou‘ is just the concept name for this phone and not the final name under which the product will be marked. It may or may not be changed by Sony Ericsson. Also, the  phone is expected to be launched in the second half of 2009.
