iPod for Queen of England by President Obama

Just for a flashback, we do know that the Queen of England already has a silver 6GB Mini version iPod which she bought in 2005 at the suggestion of Prince Andrew. Now, she has another to roll with, the one she got as a gift from President Obama.

Barack Obama met the Queen at Buckingham palace on April 1, 2009 and gifted her with an iPod loaded with memories of Queen’s visit to the U.S in 2007. The Queen visited Richmind, Jamestown and Williamsburg in Virginia.

According to sources, it is also reported that the President gave the Queen a “rare songbook signed by Richard Rodgers” (so much for the entertainment). Not only this, it seems that the President has this thing for “tech” as recently, Mr. President gifted a set of classic American movies to on DVD’s to British Prime Minister, which unfortunately were not compatible with British DVD players.

However, the Queen in return presented Barack Obama a silver framed signed photograph of herself and the Duke of Edinburgh, apparently a regular present for visiting ‘bigwigs’.
