The RAmos T12FHD is the latest revision of the RAmos T12 PMP (Portable Media Player). RAmos is a Chinese company that is little known but fast getting recognition through its products which seem, but for the user interface, to rival the likes of Apple iPod, Microsoft Zune HD, Creative Zen, SanDisk Sansa, etc. Details are scarce regarding the RAmos T12FHD PMP at the moment, but what few are available, are shared below.
The market for PMPs (Portable Music Players) is huge and has been around since the Walkmans and perhaps even the ghetto blasters of days of yore. Many of us have used the Walkman PMP, stick in a cassette and enjoy the goodness with your headphones while on the go. Others perhaps are only familiar with the latest digital Sony Walkmans and might not have a clue about what we’re talking about.
Regardless, in this day of digital rights management, high-definition video playback, lossless audio, etc RAmos a Chinese company has started to make a name for itself for its stylish handheld devices (most of which are PMPs).
Their latest offering, the RAmos T12FHD is a portable music player that supports playback of full HD video playback, that means 1080p compatibility. Aside from that amazing feat (no sarcasm intended for indeed it is a rather remarkable feat), the RAmos T12FHD is also capable of supporting the following file formats: MKV, RMVB, AVI, MOV, MPG, DAT, MP4 and TS for videos and most of the usual audio formats including but not limited to Mp3, WMA, WAV, OGG and Flac,
The 5″ touchscreen is very nice and the 800 x 480 pixel resolution on the RAmos T12FHD is as good as anything we have seen. You get 8 GB of internal memory on the RAmos T12FHD PMP.
The RAmos T12FHD also has USB OTG support so it is capable of reading, copying and saving files to and from almost anything that can be connected to it with a USB cable.
Well that is obviously not very precise or completely true but you can use your RAmos T12FHD to copy files off USB mass storage devices (including usb flash drives), the purpose for which this feature is included.
