Acer one of the largest Computer manufacturers announces Acer Stream in the market. Acer stream mobile phone runs on the Android 2.1 platform and comes with all the latest features required to compete with the prevailing smart phones competition in the mobile market. Acer stream appearance looks like Nexus one but stream comes with more powered features and high specifications.
Acer stream comes with 3.7 inches AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Acer Android phone supports Acer Touch 3D UI v4.0, comes with Touch sensitive controls and having accelerometer sensor for auto rotate. Stream Android phone supports 3G HSDP and 2G Networks GSM and for internet connectivity supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPRS and EDGE. Phone is embedded with 5 megapixel autofocus camera having Geo-tagging, face and smile detection features and having with the capability of video recording (720p @ 24fps). Acer phone comes with 2 GB inbuilt memory with 8GB card memory included, which can be updated up to 32GB.
The Acer stream runs on the Android OS v2.1 (Eclair) platform, having Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHZ processor. Stream Android phone is equipped with the messaging features like SMS, MMS, Push mail and email. Having support for social networking websites like Facebook, twitter and Flickr integration. Phone comes with java applications like Document viewer, Voice memo, T9 and also with the Google applications like Google Maps, Google Gmail etc. Phone has the standard battery, having talk time upto 5 hrs. Acer stream Android 2.1 phone is expected to be arrived in the third quarter of this year 2010.
