iHome: Mansion for Your Apple Toys

A desktop computer not blessed with ample storage space can be a headache.  Not only will you deal with a jungle of wires, finding space for your rechargeable gizmos requires swapping stuff on the computer table.  Thanks to Apple’s newest toy, the iHome, you can recharge your iPhone, iPad and iPod, simultaneously, and link them up to your computer.  Best of all, it caters to gadgets made by other brands, such as the Sony Reader.

The iHome is a souped-up version of the docking station, which is available for most Apple gadgets.  However, unlike a regular station, it comes with a storage dock for the iPad and a couple of connection sockets that support both the iPod and the iPad.  Remarkably, it also supports other gadgets that can fit in the storage docks, so if you own quite a handful of handheld toys you can charge some of them with the iHome.

Tangled cables are an eyesore and quite an annoyance, especially if you’re in a hurry.  The iHome eliminates this occurrence.  All you need to do is set your gadgets in the corresponding sockets, and they will receive their much-needed dose of power.  Like other Apple devices, the iHome is embellished with a sleek and stylish interior, doing your desktop a lot of aesthetic favors.
