Google Introduced New Tools and Layouts for Google Calendar

Google announced on the official Gmail Blog that it has revamped its Calendar products. In the Google Calendar some changes has been made that definitely desirable for the users. The layout of Google Calendar has simplified and new style is perfectly matched able with other Google applications. More functionality will facilitate the user more than before. The frequently used information will appear at the top for rendering an easy accessibility option.

A new recurring event editor introduced which is more easy to use than that of last one. It becomes possible for the user to get a summary of recurring event on main page. If the user want to edit the summary then it is feasible with the mean of “Edit” button.Google has added a new tool that helps the user to schedule his event effortlessly as the tool checks a user’s contacts’ calendars in order to avoid any conflicting date.  Through the Google Calendar Connectors API user can get the more data of other Calendar services.

The structural code is tweaked by Google that is explained in this manner “These visible changes are only the surface; underneath we’ve added a new model for how we represent calendar events in the browser and a new mechanism for how we make sure those events get properly saved. We’ve paid special attention to performance, consistency, and extensibility.
