If we talk about slates then HP slate was the first won we heard hear about last year but Apple iPad launched first and became an amazing success for Apple. While HP decided not to launch their HP Slate at that time. So, now According to New York Times Microsoft is again planning to launch their Tablet may be with Windows 7 and may be they would announce something about it in Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 in January.
Microsoft is taking about their tablet from a long time but no tablet is launched along with the name of Microsoft Corporation which got success.HP slate has launched recently but it was not a great success and also I think its availability is also an issue.
Just to be clear the aim of the Microsoft is to make a tablet which would have an operating system like Windows 7 so don’t think the tablet would have an operating system like windows phone 7.
