Thumbs-down for the new Facebook layout

It seems that users really don’t appreciate the effort done by Facebook’s R&D department in order to change the site’s layout. An application is polling Facebook users on the new site layout, and the results are shocking! Read more to see what the $516 million funded site is going through.

The Facebook application polling its users on the site’s new layout portrayed some unexpected results. Up till now, only 800,000 users or just 5% of the total users appreciate the site’s new layout, the rest of 94% completely negate the Facebook redesign.

The interesting thing about this poll is that users can not only vote as yes or no, but the can also leave their comments and thoughts about the new layout. And as we go through some of the recent comments, we see that users were really into some of the features that are missing now in the redesign. Most of them have a strong desire for Facebook to be the way, as it was previously.

Launched on February 4th, 2004, Facebook became one of the most popular social network site on the internet. It is still doing well and it can do better if Mark Zuckerberg and team think on bringing some change to the “change” they already made.
