Yes, this past week has seen the release of updates for Google Chrome (still in beta) and Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex version 8.10. Both of these softwares are relatively unknown to the general public but are much appreciated by the computing population because they are open source projects and also because they are completely free. Google’s latest release of the Chrome browser fixes a lot of important bugs. Some of them are: plug-ins will now work better (Adobe Flash/Shockwave, Silverlight, QuickTime, etc), PDFs are less likely to cause a crash when opened in Google Chrome, etc. Also included are security fixes, improvement of javascript rendering and some UI (User Interface) changes as well.
Ubuntu just released their latest version of their popular Linux based OS, Intrepid Ibex. The latest release sees Ubuntu benefiting from the update to the Linux kernel. Webcam hardware now has improved support and support for Atheros’ new wireless driver. An updated version of GNOME (the desktop environment that is most commonly used by Ubuntu) sees new user interface options including the long awaited tabular browsing. I hesitate to use even upgraded versions of Chrome, since my last experience using it (first version) left my computer compromised; have they fixed the security issues beyond all doubt?

Chrome Ubuntu is much faster and wide then other browsers.
I have been using chrome browser for last few months and I found it perfect. The browsing is very fast. Now good news is that chrome has got even better now by fixing a lot of important bugs.
