Razer Naga Gaming Mouse specialized for MMOs

As you can imagine from the title, Razer (an American company that specializes in making high-end keyboards and mice aimed particularly towards gamers) has developed a new breed of gaming mice (terrible pun, I know) aimed particularly at the ever burgeoning MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) games market. People who purchase the Razer Naga can expect a gaming mouse that features what looks suspiciously like a number-pad.

Yes that’s right, as you can see from the image above, the Razer Naga gaming mouse features a sort of number-pad at the side of the mouse. These extra buttons are numerically labeled one to twelve and in addition to the rest of the buttons on the Razer Naga gaming mouse add up to a rather mind-boggling total of seventeen buttons! The extra buttons are highly programmable though and once the final version of the Razer Naga and its accompanying software is released we will be able to detail how well or how badly the actual product performs.

However, from what we have seen so far, the Razer Naga gaming mouse arrives with Razer’s now standard 5600 dpi with 1 ms response time. Other than that, the software is set to feature add-ons for various games of casino online (including World of Warcraft) designed to make it easier to assign specific macros for different characters and therefore make switching between characters easier. In fact, as a promotional tool we would imagine, Razer has released a video showing how to assign commands to your Razer Saga gaming mouse using the add-on specific to WoW as you can see below.

The Razer Naga gaming mouse is set to be sold at $79.99 so unless you truly are an avid MMO gamer or feel that this mouse could help improve your productivity in software like Adobe Photoshop etc, we would advise you to give a pass and stick with Razer’s lesser creations.
