Amazon launches ‘Kindle for the Web’

Kindle for the web is a site where you can read and share Book Samples without having to leave your browser. Amazon.com today introduced “Kindle for the Web” , which will make it all the more easier for you to search for books and various authors by sampling Kindle Books without having to do any installation or downloading, directly through web browsers.

All of this is only a click away, when you view the option “Read first chapter FREE”, all you do is click and the first chapter of the book you have chosen will. Not only that, you can adjust the format of the book as you please, the font, its size, colour, background, all of it. It doesn’t end here, you can then share the book sample with your friends, colleagues, acquaintances through Twitter, Facebook and email.

According to Dorothy Nicholls, Director, Amazon Kindle, “With Kindle for the Web, it’s easier than ever for customers to sample Kindle books – there’s no downloading or installation required, also Kindle for the Web is a great way for bloggers and authors to promote books on their websites by letting visitors read a chapter without leaving their site.”Kindle for the Web will soon include new features for mobile browsers.
