Some Smartphones have nowadays a processor a processor of about 1Ghz and even dual core processor smartphone are continuing to launch in recent times. And according to Maeli Business Newspaper Samsung will have dual core 2GHz processors for their smartphones till next year.
If this news is true, then it would be a real game changer in the world of smartphones as each core will have a 2GHz processor for itself which means those smartphones would be eight times faster than current high end phone like Samsung Galaxy S and iPhone.
Currently ARM already has a dual core Cortex A9 processor for smartphones which is currently compatible with Samsung smartphone like Samsung Galaxy S2 which would launch soon. The report further mentioned that not only Samsung would use their 2GHz dual core processors with their products but also they would sell it to other company which is also awesome news as most of the high-end smartphone would be amazingly fast with this processor.
