Nokia to build laptops in near future

Nokia might come up with a latest technology in the form of a laptop in near future. The Finnish multinational firm has some plans to infiltrate the laptop market as it has already conquered the mobile market.

As we all know, Nokia is focused on wireless and wired telecommunications with sales in more than 150 countries which makes it the world’s largest manufacturer when it comes to mobile phones. Nokia has been manufacturing mobile phones for almost every major market segment and protocol which includes GSM, CDMA and W-CDMA.

Now we hear statements from the Nokia CEO Olli Pekka Kallasvuo that his company was “looking very actively” at the laptop market. Unfortunately, the CEO did not fully express as to if Nokia will come up with a notebook for a full sized laptop. But such statement by Nokia’s CEO come just one day after Microsoft’s CEO expressed his views on his company converging mobile computers and mobiles into one device.

Although tech prophets argue that it would be a bad idea for Nokia to step in the laptop market as it is not fully aware of the strengths of the giants that already are there. In short, such statements have no concrete outcome as they are mere replies by two tech giant CEOs.
