Facebook 70percent Pakistani want permanent ban

Facebook one of the huge social networking website was banned last Wednesday in Pakistan due to displaying blasphemous drawing of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).  According to the ProPakistan.pk a technology blog have conducted the public poll about the Facebook banned scenario. Apparently, it was found that 70 percent of Pakistani want permanent ban on Facebook and on the other side 14 percent supports Lahore High Court orders for banning Facebook Social networking website and block access to YouTube till 31st, 2010.

In the Poll regarding the Facebook Ban, lots of users have shown and express their angry against the page showed by Facebook.  Poll is still going on, according to the first three days 70 percent of Pakistani wants to be permanent Ban on Facebook, upto eight percent wants to block the single URL and the remaining seven percent did not want ban on the Facebook website.

On of the student giving comments while talking to Nation that more than thousand of people had complained to Facebook to remove the Page and contents that are against the Islamic values and norms through Facebook standard reporting procedure but the Facebook administration had taken no action against it. On the further, Facebook officials took 20 minutes to block the page against the Jewish.  Moreover, it is totally against the ethics and it shows their hate and discrimination against Muslims.  As Facebook is not friendly and as Muslims we must quit using Facebook.
