APPLE IPHONE 4 DELAYED OR NOT COMING TO INDIA

Apple iPhone 4 took the world in its grasp when it was released in June 7, 2010. It was initially put to display in 17 countries in America, Europe and Asia. Later it was unleashed in 88 countries by the end of September, 2010. India has been dreaming big ever since. Airtel and Vodafone have been telling the press about launching this Apple marvel in September-October timeline.

Apple iPhone is nowhere to be seen and it`s the end of October. Production delays have been regarded as one of the reason behind the Apple iPhone 4 delays. It is also possible that the operators are waiting for the already-delayed 3G network launch, which is expected to happen by the end of the year. But it seems people don’t want Apple iPhone 4 from the operators. Firstly the official price of the iPhone 3GS currently is considerably higher than what you can get in the grey market. Second there’s no two year contract period in India. Thirdly, only two operators will offer the phone locked down to their own network.  It seems like people in India might have to face a bit of a hustle for Apple iPhone 4.

Apple iPhone 4 officially bought in India offers warranty coverage so if you import it from another country you might miss out on these facilities. And the same can be said for Apple iPad. But the delay in launch seems to be irritating many Apple fans and they have started buying these Apple products from abroad.
