Guys the hot technology topic from this November is Microsoft Kinect which is the sensor controller for Xbox 360.This device has brought revolution to the gaming world and it has record number of sales in the first month as we reported just a few days ago.And now Kinect has achieved another landmark as its sales has now surpassed the sales of Apple iPad and Nintendo Wii Console and we know that both of these devices are really popular.
Microsoft expects that they would sell about 5 million units of Kinect till the end of this month as currently over 2.5million units are sold within a month. There is no doubt that the sales of Microsoft Kinect would further increase because of it amazing features which allows the users to use nothing but their hand and body , no other thing is required.
Apple was able to sell 4.5 million units of iPad in 90 days and on the other side Microsoft has sold 2.5 million units of Kinect within 25 days. Although I think it is lame to compare iPad with Kinect but still the media hype about Apple iPad was way much greater than of Kinect but still Kinect has managed to attract more people.

According to Readwriteweb.com, Microsoft sold 2.5 million Kinect’s in the first 25 days which means they are averaging 100,000 units a day. At this rate, Microsoft has taken the title of fastest selling gadget in history from Apple as it is selling twice as fast as the iPad.
