Galaxy Series made Samsung a rockstar of the smart phone industry and their flagship device has always made headlines. Each year Samsung releases one flagship phone thankfully other than bunch of other phones and he we are once again with the specs and benchmarks which are believed to be of Galaxy S6. Last Year Samsung fell short of their expectations about the Galaxy S5 sales and that resulted in a bad financial year for them.
HTC, Sony, LG and Motorola came up with some great flagship devices which gave Galaxy S5 a tough time. Coming back to the leaked specs and benchmarks, the device is named “SM-G925F“ on the app and is powered by Samsung Exynos 7420 64-bit processor which was earlier thought to be Exynos 7400 along with 3 GB of RAM
Talking about other specs, the screen will be Quad HD 5.5 inches with the resolution of 1440 x 2560 while featuring a 5 Megapixel front facing camera and 20 Megapixel rear camera. It is still unclear if better image sensor is used or not. Lastly it will be running Android 5.0 Lollypop as expected with 32 gigs of internal storage.
These specs are mouth watering but should be taken with a pinch of salt as Galaxy Note 4 carries very similar specs too. Not to forget Samsung has been criticized due to the materials used for its phones. many of the phone makers are now following the footsteps of Apple by making premium phones. Samsung is still stuck with plastic phones but recently the Korean giant has changed the way they made their phones with the introduction of metal in their phones.
Galaxy Alpha was the first phone with the metal frame followed by the Note 4 which is selling like hot cakes. According to some reports Samsung is making Galaxy S6 from scratch this time to make sure its a hit unlike Galaxy S5. Another variant Galaxy S6 Edge is also rumored to be released by Samsung as we saw with the Note 4 Edge.
