Apple with its stylish new MacBook Air, as many predict, has changed the world of computing. Apple boss Steve Jobs says “It’s like nothing we’ve ever created before” and claims it to be “the future of notebooks.” What is so special about this ultra slim Notebook, other than its 0.11 inches thickness at its thinnest point? Let`s investigate this Apple!

Apple MacBook is special. With that said, the reason why people call it the future is the innovative idea of bringing iPad and desktop computing into one soul and body, and the hybrid that results is your MacBook Air. With no hard drive inside it, you MacBook would rely on its flash memory, the idea introduced in the Apple iPad. NAND flash technology in the form of solid state drives (SSD) is the very idea that presents a substitute to the existing world of hard drives.

Many agree and predict that SSDs will kill off much of high-end hard disk drive market that Seagate is dominating today. But all we need to do is to sit back, relax and enjoy the fruits of technology.
