Official PlayStation App for iPhone and Android Announced

It’s a surprise to me, but Sony has today announced they will launch the official PlayStation for both iOS and Android. They announced this news on the official blog of PlayStation. This app would be compatible with both iPhone and iPod touch which would have iOS 4.x and above while it would work on Android device which would have Android 1.6 or above.

Check out your PlayStation Network trophies and keep up to date with your friends’ games and online status.

Discover all the latest games, news and hardware for your PlayStation 3, PSP and PlayStation 2.

First version of this app would be available for free on App Store for free in UK , France , Germany , Spain , Italy and The Netherlands. They are also working on some new features for this app which would be available in the next version of this app.
