Steve Jobs said about Location tracking issue ‘We Don’t Track Anyone’

From past week a discussion is going around on web that Apple stores the location data of their iPhone users. This rumor is about the latest mobile OS of Apple iOS 4 which was release about a year ago. Many people have shown their concerns about this issue even US government also taken a notice about this issue.

Q: Steve,

Could you please explain the necessity of the passive location-tracking tool embedded in my iPhone? It’s kind of unnerving knowing that my exact location is being recorded at all times. Maybe you could shed some light on this for me before I switch to a Droid. They don’t track me.

A: Oh yes they do. We don’t track anyone. The info circulating around is false.

So , because of this issue Steve Jobs is back in the scene with his email reply. An iPhone users who was little bit angry about the location tracking issue of iPhone and in his email he showed that he would like to switch to some Android phone if the issue is not resolved soon.

And as usual Steve Jobs gave the simplest of answer and did not bother to waste his time explaining the issue. According to Steve they are not storing the location of their iPhone users but instead said Android does that. Let’s see what we hear about this issue in the coming time.
