Another series of Angry Birds known as Angry Birds Space has broken all the previous records. It is the first ever application in the category of games that has hit the 50 million downloads in just 35 days. This record is almost two weeks faster than the previously made record holder.
According to Rovio who is the game developer of Angry Birds Space said: “Angry Birds Space reached 10 million downloads in the first three days.”
He also added, “He is not sure what makes the latest duplication of the series of Angry Birds so much populous than the previous versions, but there must be something attractive about flying birds along with a completely unique dynamics of physics which has made it a success.”
Angry Birds Space is completely different from the other series of Angry Birds games and its main theme has been set in Space. It is also physics based game which means that the players need to keep in context about the gravitational laws. There is no doubt of presence of gravity in Space, but there is also the vacuum of space and players have to consider the angles, torques in which they need to pull the birds into the Space.
Rovio is basically milking up the Angry Birds Space and there is a lot of space-themed merchandise already on its online store. Angry Birds Space is presently available on iOS, Android, Mac OS, and Windows, and the company is also planning for a Windows Phone version.
In addition to this, in the announcement made by Rovio about explaining the reason for the success of Angry Birds Space is a clue at “something even bigger” which would be coming soon. Critics are expecting that it could be a rumor for an upcoming Angry Birds movie.
