A Review of the NEXUS 10 Android Tablet

Tablet computers have become a popular commodity in the last few years, and the reasons are obvious. A mobile computer uses touch screen, which means that the mouse and keyboard are no longer needed. This makes it the perfect tool to have when on you are on the move. The tablet computer is also known as the “personal computer for children of all Ages”. These mini portable computers are extremely smart, and they can be truly useful for people with busy schedules, who need easy access to the internet and information. There are many great apps which can help you get directions, write a document, send an email, check the weather forecast or read the latest news.

Like regular computers, the tablets run on a number of operating systems. These operating systems come in two classes, the traditional desktop based operating systems and the post-PC mobile-based operating systems.  Although the former classes like Microsoft Windows and Linux were invaluable at their time, the later classes seem to have overrun the market. The android tablets and Apple iOS tablets are now the leading operating systems available.

A great example of android tablet is the latest Nexus tablet, announced by Google. Google has continued the partnership with Samsung in order to create a new line of mobile devices, and the result of this partnership is the quad-core Nexus 4 mobile phone, the Samsung Chromebook 3G and the latest tablet computer with a 10 inch display and 2560 x 1600 resolution ( which means approximately 300 pixels per inch ). With this incredible display quality, it has managed to dethrone its main competitor, the iPad Retina. You’ve quessed right, it’s the Nexus 10 tablet, a superb device with an incredibly powerful battery which offers over 9 hours of video playback, and 500 hours of stand-by lifetime.

The Nexus 10 tablet will have the price of 399 USD for the 16 GB verision, and 499 USD for the 32 GB one, and will be initially made available in the United States, Great Britain, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan. It has always been a goal for Nexus to create the perfect balance between quality, performance and price, and although the price is quite reasonable, Nexus has managed to take the fight to apple with its latest products.

The new tablet is arguably the best computer tablet on the market at present. The only drawback to it is the shortage of apps which can be found on the android tablet app store, as opposed to the iPad store which has a huge amount of applications.
